If you are using an LG device and you're experiencing issues such as missing data, or nothing being recorded at all, ignoring battery optimizations for Slopes should get things working as expected.
- Open the Settings app on your phone
- Go to Battery & Power Saving
- Tap on Battery Usage
- Tap on Ignore Optimizations and toggle off for Slopes
