If you are using a Samsung device and you're experiencing issues such as missing data, or nothing being recorded at all, running through the below troubleshooting steps should get things working as expected.

Give Slopes Unrestricted Battery Usage
- Open the Settings app on your phone
- Tap on Apps -> Slopes
- Tap on Battery, and set it to Unrestricted
Allow "All the Time" Location Permission
- Open the Settings app
- Tap on Apps
- Tap on Slopes - if you can't find it, tap on See all apps
- Tap on Permissions
- Tap on Location permission, then choose Allow all the time
Turn Power Saving Mode Off
Make sure that your battery is not set to Power Saving Mode. We have had multiple reports that Slopes will not record when this is on.
We've also had reports from some users that their Samsung phone was re-enabling power saving mode every time they restarted it, and that they needed this was 100% off. This help article from Samsung explains how to do that.
