How to set up the Google Fit integration

Google has removed API access for Google Fit and is deprecating the Google Fit APIs, so Slopes must move to Health Connect to keep reading fitness data like heart rate and calories. Health Connect is Android’s new on‑device hub for securely sharing health data between apps, and Google recommends migrating now to avoid interruptions.

Please click here for instructions on migrating from Google Fit to Health Connect.

If you're using an Android wearable (or any other device that pushes data to Google's Health APIs), you can connect Slopes to Google Fit so this fitness data can be synced into Slopes.

Here's how to get going:

  • Go to the Account tab in Slopes
  • Tap on Integrations under Settings
  • Choose Google Fit as your Health Source and follow the prompts

When you're done recording, you'll then be able to see how hard you pushed yourself at a glance in the Fitness section on the Daily Summary Screen.
