Does Slopes support backcountry?

Slopes will record your backcountry activities, but the app is designed for alpine skiing so it won't detect stuff like when you were skinning uphill vs riding a lift. 

If there's not enough vertical change it won't save the data, so you'll also find that it probably won't record "runs" that you've done on flat terrain, such as when nordic or telemark skiing.

All that being said, while we don't have an ETA right now, we are hoping to improve support for other winter sports in future so keep an eye out for updates.
